The management department can be summed up in one word - application. What makes our department not only unique, but enjoyable is the amount of time students work on real world projects using learned tools and techniques to solve real world problems. As educators, we strongly believe that when a student has hands-on experience, they are more likely to understand the concepts and the materials, ultimately giving them a competitiave advantage in todays fierce job markets. JMU Management, learn- understand- do.
